Welcome to the effective and affordable microfiber filter for your washing machine

Help reduce your laundry micro plastics with our patent pending Eenee 100 micron filter bag for your washing machine...

CUSTOMER ENDORSEMENT

Having tried and tested Eenee's Microfiber Filter Bags for Washing Machines for the past month, I have now bought more of these brilliant little devices for all the family this Christmas.  They are so simple to use and to reduce our micro plastics destroying critical, multi-species' ecologies and habitats in waterways and oceans.  It's the least we can do to make a difference every time we wash our clothes using any type of washing machine. Thank you to the great people at https://eenee.com/microplastics.filter.bag for designing this simple and effective solution.

eenee microfibre filter

Why?

It's no small thing, it is estimate up to 35% of the primary plastic that is polluting our oceans comes from washing cloths.  With every load of laundry 100,000's of microfibers are released into your waste-water which drains and enters waste-water treatment plants, some are captured as bio-solids, but are then distributed to land and can enter our food chain, and some will pass straight through the treatment plants into our waterways and oceans.  In the end they all end up polluting our environment and extensive research is highlighting the potential health issues for us and our eco systems.

Now you can help Stop Micro Plastics!

By filtering the waste-water from your washing machine using the simple, easy to use Eenee Filter Bag, you can help reduce microfibers from being released into your environment.

Testing shows the eenee filter bag retains upto 80% of microfibers!

FAQ

What type of washing machine does it work with?

All domestic washing machines, top loading or front loading.

Will it damage my machine?

The eenee filter works independently to your washing machine, the waste-water gravitationally flows through the bag, it has no effect on your washing machine.

Does it matter what type of detergent is used?

No, you can continue to use your preferred detergent.

Does it need power to work?

No, it does not require any power to work.

How will I know when it needs cleaning?

It is easy to see the 'tide line' of the fibers collecting in the bag and the bag is easy to see in the sink.

What if I don't clean the bag?

The bag will simply overflow into the sink and some fibers will escape down the drain.

Why don't you collect & recycle the fibers?

The energy and carbon miles required to collect & transport microfibers from washing machines is excessive.  In-house uses such as making mats to line the bottom of ornamental pot plants is just one idea how to reuse and contain the fibers.

What if I don't want a filter in my sink?

You could set up a separate drainage receptacle e.g a bin with a drainage hole which is plumbed into the undersink drain and place the drainage rack over the hole (flat or on an angle to fit the receptacle), just ensure the filter is still easy to see so you don't forget to clean it.

Why is it important to take the sink plug out of the sink?

You need to ensure the drain hole in your sink remains clear at all times, otherwise the sink can fill and overflow onto your floor.  Use the drainage rack to place over the sink hole to prevent accidental blocking.
