  • Description

The City of Mitcham had approved Eenee Compostables (uPads) for inclusion in household green bins, however due to contamination coming from unknown sources (not our nappies), they have asked that all nappies be placed in the regular waste bin for now.

The City of Mitcham takes in the suburbs of Bedford Park, Belair, Bellevue Heights, Blackwood, Brownhill Creek, Clapham, Clarence Gardens, Colonel Light Gardens, Coromandel Valley, Craigburn Farm, Cumberland Park, Daw Park, Eden Hills, Glenalta, Hawthorn, Hawthorndene, Kingswood, Lower Mitcham, Lynton, Melrose Park, Mitcham, Netherby, Panorama, Pasadena, Springfield, St Marys, Torrens Park, Upper Sturt, Urrbrae and Westbourne Park.

When the Council goes back to allowing our nappies in the green bin, please ensure soiled Eenee Compostables (uPads) are placed in a fully compostable bag before placing in the green bin.  You can find economical supplies of compostable bags through The City of Mitcham here:-
